The CAPA Community Education Fund (CAPA-CEF) has been sponsoring a student internship program for over 20 years, where it has provided more than 300 students the unique opportunity to gain firsthand knowledge of the political process as well as a solid understanding of the importance of Asian American civic participation. The Internship Committee is currently accepting online applications for 2012 program; the deadline is Monday, February 27, 2012 at 11:59 pm. If selected for a professional interview, you will receive an email by Friday, March 9. Interviews will take place on Sunday, March 18, 2012.

Any student in high school (currently a sophomore, junior, or senior) or in college who lives in the counties of Contra Costa, Alameda, or San Francisco, and is interested in this internship program is encouraged to apply. Social Security Number is required upon internship acceptance as a small stipend will be given at the intern graduation. [More on Eligibility and Requirements.]
